The dearest town in Leinster is Dartry in Co. Dublin, where the median sale in the 12 months to 25 September 2026 was €2,000,000. The cheapest is Newtownforbes in Co. Longford at €164,000. Next after Dartry come Sandycove at €1,400,000 and Mount Merrion at €1,240,000. Just above Newtownforbes sit Banagher at €190,000 and Ballymahon at €198,000. Medians rose over the year in 158 of the 206 towns, fell in 44 and held steady in 4.
