Last updated: July 2026. This policy explains what Leinster Insider collects, why, and your rights. We keep data collection to a minimum.

What we collect

We only hold what you give us or what is needed to run the site:

  • Your email address, if you subscribe to the newsletter or use a form on the site. We use it only to send what you asked for.
  • Anything you type into the contact form (your name, email and message), so we can reply.
  • Aggregate, anonymous usage statistics (pages viewed, referring site, country) via Plausible Analytics. This is cookieless and cannot identify you.

The property figures on this site come from public records (the Property Price Register, CSO and the RTB). They describe sales and rents, not individuals.

Cookies

We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. Our analytics tool, Plausible, is privacy-friendly and cookieless. A small amount of data may be stored in your browser (for example your saved town shortlist), but it stays on your device and is never sent to us.

Who processes your data

We use a few trusted providers, each GDPR-compliant, only for the purpose named:

  • Netlify, hosting the site and receiving form submissions.
  • Resend, delivering the newsletter you subscribed to.
  • Plausible Analytics, privacy-friendly, cookieless site statistics.
  • Google Workspace, our email inbox, for replying to you.

We never sell, rent or trade your information.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, at any time. Every newsletter has a one-click unsubscribe link. To make any request, email info@leinsterinsider.ie and we will act on it promptly.
