Where will my business appear?
Approved businesses appear on this board, with one primary county. The five highest overall paid positions also appear in a homepage widget. Homepage placement is not guaranteed. Relevant guides link readers to the filtered board. Payment does not insert a business into a guide or buy a newsletter slot.
Who can apply?
A verifiable business operating in Leinster, with a landing page that matches its name and description. Each business can have one listing and one primary county. You can describe the other counties you serve in your short description.
How does paid position work?
Position follows cumulative captured placement spend, less refunded placement spend, excluding tax. The engine supplies overall, county and business-category positions. Another business can pay more and move ahead immediately. A quote does not reserve a position.
When does the listing appear, and how long does it run?
We manually review the first application before capturing the authorised payment and publishing the listing. Approval is not instant or guaranteed. The pilot lasts 180 days from its published opening, and all eligible placements end at the same published closing date. New sales and top-ups stop 30 days before that close. There is no automatic renewal or carry-over spend.
What happens if the pilot stops?
If we stop new sales early, existing placements stay visible until the promised close. If we withdraw the service before then, affected purchases receive a full refund, including related tax where applicable. Being outbid alone does not qualify for a refund. Non-delivery and duplicate charges are handled separately.
What results are promised?
We promise the agreed placement, not a number of views, clicks, enquiries or sales. Advertisers can view listing views, outbound clicks, spend and the placement end date through their private management link. Preview reports contain demo activity only. An outbound click is not evidence of a lead or sale.

Our existing sponsorship packages are separate offers with their own prices and deliverables. Buying a spotlight placement does not buy a newsletter feature or change an editorial recommendation.
