Castletown House reopens, Book of Mormon arrives & Emo nostalgia returns to Dublin!

The big news from Leinster this week?
Castletown House in Celbridge, Co Kildare, is finally reopening to the public! Here are the details, plus four other great things to do this weekend.
Castletown House re-opening.
Castletown House grounds has finally reopened to the public from dawn until dusk following a meeting between Kildare North TDs and Minister Moran.
Maintenance teams have begun work with limited access via Lime Avenue and plans for a new car park at Kildare Innovation Campus. Access via Lime Avenue will be limited to 4–5 vehicles per day.
There is a plan to introduce a mobility train/shuttle service from the new car park to improve accessibility. Public toilets and bins will be reopened as soon as possible. Organised community activities like Park Run will recommence soon. It's one of our favourite things to do in Celbridge

Book of Mormon Comes to Dublin
The nine-time Tony Award and four-time Olivier winning musical “The Book of Mormon” is in the Bord Gais Energy Theatre in Dublin this month.

PTSB Ideal Homes Show
The PTSB Ideal Home Show returns to RDS Simmonscourt with 230 exhibitors offering expert advice on home improvements, interiors, and energy upgrades.

Gavin Friday’s At Vicar Street
Irish musician Gavin Friday will perform a long-awaited hometown show at Dublin’s Vicar Street, celebrating his new album “ECCE HOMO” released last October.

The Emo Festival brings Dublin a night of teenage nostalgia featuring live bands and DJs performing the biggest emo anthems that were “never just a phase.” Expect live performers, confetti, and all the angst your teenage dirtbag heart desires at this standing-only event.
